All my life I have viewed the world around me from a slightly skewed perspective. As long as I can remember I have marvelled over things that worked perfectly – toys, stories, gadgets, and experiences. Birds. Scratched my head at those same types of things that didn’t work. The defrost setting on every microwave oven I have ever owned. And have been most frustrated by the things that would be perfect if only someone involved had tried just a little harder (or, perhaps, not as hard). 8 out of every 10 movies made.
